I recently received a comment on one of my images that I submitted. I found the comment out of line and not at all accurate, so I went to the member's page and found no submissions of any kind. First thing I noticed was that someone who I respect here on DeviantArt had posted a comment on this persons page commenting on the Unsolicited Critique on one of the artist's images. Then I looked into how many comments this individual had made and found that out of 40 comments that I could view, he had not given any constructive critiques. All comments were inflammatory and seem to only have one purpose, to hurt the artist in one way or another.
I took on myself to keep looking at the comments and follow up on his comments to make sure that the people he was sending this malicious comments to would be aware of this troll's actions.

I believe that art comes in so many forms and unless you ask for critique then leave the comments to yourself.
Why would anyone discourage someone else from creating any kind of art?
I might not always agree with all Deviations, but I keep my words to myself since I have no right to tell people what they are doing! Sometimes I think I don't understand what art is conveying and it is ok, since the artist have the right to do anything they want!

Please, keep up your good work and let everyone else enjoy your art. Ignore ignorant comments and don't let the comment stop you from working with your art.

I am so frustrated with people in the modeling business. Too many people that make commitments and then cancel after long discussions what time would work for THEM or cancelling last minute.
I have been working with people on MM and it might be the worst site to find dependable people.
Some people are awesome and I love working with them, but too many are not worth my time.

Oh, got that off my chest!

Need to find a good Make Up artist that is available for Thursday...Wish be luck!

Staycation

I took vacation from work and with my family explored the many things we can do in the SF Bay Area, so my latest images are from SF Zoo and Camping in Santa Cruz Mountains.

River rocks

1 min read
I have some river rocks next to my driveway at my house. I took my camera and shot so macro images of leaves and rocks in the dark evening hours. It is fun to see how different the world looks when you isolate it into such a small world as macro photography puts you into. Normally you walk right past these images.  In the big world around us, there is a much smaller world as well....

San Jose had a lot of Car Shows and Meetings this past weekend, July 11-13. I only manage to attend two events, but I loved all the cars they had on display.
I will work with some of the owners to take more detailed shots of their cars in the future.

The car photography is new to me. I started with the interest in shooting classic cars with Pin Up models and this will still happen soon in the future. But as of now, I think it is a lot of fun to shoot cars.

The light conditions were pretty rough with strong sunshine and lots of glare. There was also a lot of people walking in and out of the potential shots. I had my family with my little girls with me so I had only limited time to work on the shots.
Next year I will spend a lot more time shooting at this event. It was pretty cool with the Historical Park as back drop.

Hopefully my pictures show how beautiful these cars are!
